Fight to protect your rights and work hard on the local level to make your tours easier. What we have done!
Fought for hardship pay for Joint Task Force Personnel Full-Accounting, sent more than 100,00- care packages to overseas service members during the Gulf War; and provided prepaid telephone cards to active-duty troops and hospitalized veterans via VFW's Operation Uplink.

This picture was taken of the Hogan wedding at a bed & breaksfast here locally on Sat. August 13, 2005. The groom is with a Army Reserve unit that was recently deployed to Iraq.Post 3494 color guard provide the honor guard for a military styled wedding and the minister ( a member of the color guard) to conduct the actual wedding ceremony.

High School Diplomas for Certain veterans of the Vietnam Conflict!
The bill allows a board of education to grant a high school diploma to any Vietnam Conflict veteran who attended a public high school in Ohio prior to serving in the United States Armed Forces. As with current law, which allows a board of education to grant a high school diploma to a veteran of World War II or th Korean Conflict, a Vietnam Conflict veteran must meet the following three conditions in order to receive his/her diploma: (1) The veteran should have left high school prior to graduation in order to serve in the armed forces. (2) The veteran should have received an honorable discharge. (3) The veteran has not already been granted a diploma or a dimploma or adult education puruant to sections 3313.61, 3313.611, or 3313.612 of the Ohio Revised Code.
